PEDAGOGY

As an educator, I emphasize critical thinking, writing, research, and organization to engage students
and build problem solving skills. The fifteen years I’ve worked as a creative practitioner drive me to marry practicality with theory in the classroom. I contextualize lessons with real-world data and examples to present fresh perspectives and evolving practices. And I provide a flexible learning environment where students feel they can participate, contribute, and excel.

I’m so grateful for the conversation we had at MCLA’s mentor meet up. The questions she asked and hypotheticals she presented were perfect. My brain feels like it’s moving again.
