As a project developer and manager, I construct and facilitate economic development, creative, and community programs including events, workshops, conferences, and exhibitions. I utilize creative and strategic thinking to engage audiences, build partnerships, and maximize impacts. I address the fine details while always keeping the big picture in mind.
Project management services I offer include:
- Long-term programming
- Special event planning and facilitation
- Community engagement
- Partnership coordination
- Digital and print marketing
1Berkshire's Creative Resources Conference
I founded and facilitated the pilot Creative Resources Conference, held at Hotel on North in 2015, while working as 1Berkshire's Creative Economy Specialist. I was then contracted to develop the programming for the second and third events in 2017 and 2018. Cumulatively, the conferences brought over 90 speakers and presenters together in 26 topical sessions to support hundreds of regional creative attendees.
Berkshire Leadership Summit
I worked with a steering committee to produce the pilot Berkshire Leadership Summit, a 2-day event for women working in nonprofit theater companies across the United States and Canada. I successfully managed a crowdfunding scholarship campaign and coordinated event logistics including registration, transportation, a 26-page program, and promotional videos. The summit, hosted by WAM Theatre, took place October 28-29, 2017.
eCLIPSE MILL GALLERY
As Gallery Manager, I facilitated and promoted exhibitions and special events in the Eclipse Mill Artist Lofts's 1,100 square foot gallery in North Adams, Mass. in 2017. Exhibitions included 100 Hours in the Woodshed V, a collage marathon; inDIVISIBLE, a national juried exhibition exploring artists' thoughts on democracy and politics following the 2016 presidential election; and Sound Machines, an exhibition of unique, handmade instruments which I also curated.
